Epagneul Breton Club U.S.A.
French Brittany Gun Dog Association of America, Inc.

This club has been utilizing rules as set forth by France, the breed's country of origin, for a number of years. As the National Parent Club for the breed, all of our events are now going to be licensed and sanctioned by the U.K.C. meaning that your dog's achievements will now be officially recognized by the UKC, a national body promoting the "Total Dog" concept, in addition to the parent club recognition.  Be aware that unless an event is licensed it will carry no official significance, whereas achievements at licensed events will be documented on your dog's registry and reflected on its UKC pedigree.
The rules this association submitted to the UKC for approval are now in the process of being finalized for use in our licensed events. As each set is finalized they will be published on our site for easy access.

(Note: These rules were drafted from F.C.I. rules utilized in France. They are designed as walking trials for gun dogs and have been   adopted by the U.K.C. for utilization as sanctioned field trial events for pointing breeds).

T.A.N. RULES (Natural Ability Test)
(Note: This set of rules are the regulations from France that have been utilized over the years by this association. They were since adopted by the U.K.C. for utilization within their framework).
