BEST OF BREED
	The 2004 National Epagneul Breton Specialty was held on April 2, 2004 in Armour, South Dakota. There was a very fine representation present with 45 entries in the show. This year's Best of Breed was awarded to CH. Reve Tisserand de Plum Creek, owned by Bill and Kathy Dillon. Best of Winners went to Topperlyn's United Front, owned by Kurt Stepaniak and Best Female went to Midtvejs Claudine, owned by Greg Connolly.. Congratulations go to all the entrants and owners. The Pairknaglos Best of Breed perpetual trophy is engraved with the name of the winning dog each year and a tropy is awarded to owners to keep. A trophy is also presented to the Best of Winners, Best Male and Best Female. Rosettes are awarded for 1st through 4th place in each Class. Specially made ceramic and wood framed plaques plus rosettes are awarded to each Best of Variety winner, to the Best Female, Best Male, Best of Winners and to Best of Breed. Lynda Kieres, Show Secretary, and Bob and Kim Olson, ring stewards, must be congratulated for the great job organizing the event and all the details that go into putting on a show.

The most gratifying moments of the afternoon once again proved to be the Junior Handlers portion of the show. The Junior Handler class goes first, so the pressure was on for these young ladies and yet they performed in manners that set fine examples for their parents and the other adults present to measure up to when it was their turn in the ring!	Ribbons are presented to each Sub-Junior and Pee-Wee competitor so everyone goes away a winner. And what better way to get your children involved with the dogs?! We'd like to encourage more parents to bring their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews to compete in this rewarding event next year.
